I already had my CDL but wanted to add HAZMAT. There was a issue processing the payment online, but was able to drop off cash with George (the guy from Allied where their office is). I studied previously with the DMV Genie app. The class was super easy being prepared prior, and meeting Tom and dealing with his son Thomas was a pleasant process. To anyone looking to get hazmat or into commercial driving I highly recommend these guys. I honestly was nervous because of all the scams these days, and issues with payment, and being in the Allied building, it just seemed off/sketchy BUT when I finally met them and Thomas communicating every step of the process, I would go through these guys in a heartbeat. Awesome and knowledgeable team!

Tom was very easy to talk to and explained things clearly. He is very good at assessing your experience level and teaching you the right way to do things, you might think you know already, without making you feel like a fool. On top of that he will set up a test day for you when you're ready so if you pay attention and follow his direction you don't need to spend a month or two for training. Good luck and have fun

I have had my class a for over a year but had an auto restriction on my license. CMV tutor was the only place in MN I could find that could work with me to learn to drive a manual and get that restriction removed without trying to cram it in in a week long refresher course. You'll get one on one training and will go at the pace that works for you to get you to where you're ready to test. I had Tom as my trainer and he did a great job. I would recommend CMV tutor for anyone that wants to learn to drive a manual truck and get your class a.

I started with Tom having no experience with semis or manual transmissions. Within a few weeks, I was driving through town comfortably. This is indicative of how good Tom's training program is. He works around your schedule and is prompt in communication. Highly recommend!

During my search for behind the wheel training Class "A" CDL, I was looking for a place that would cater to my already full schedule, and the CMV Tutor did just that. I was able to train on weekends. Tom is also an awesome instructor, that is able to tell you exactly what you need to work on to improve. It's no surprise, that he has such a high success rate. He isn't there to just get you to complete the training then send you on your way. He ensures that you are ready to take the exam, by giving you all the skills and confidence to pass. I'm am glad I went through the CMV Tutor for my Class "A" CDL.

Tom is a great instructor with a ton or real world experience. He is able to give great instruction based on your experience level and provides ample opportunity to allow you to learn and succeed. He has great instructional videos on pretrip inspections and goes over them with you thoroughly at each lesson. Well worth the time and money. Great guy, great school!

Tom was a great trainer, he provided me with an easy to study and learn packet all about the pre trip and gave excellent instructions, advice and pointers when driving a semi which helped me pass my road test. I highly recommend seeing Tom for your CDL training.

Tom really knows his stuff. He is super encouraging and was also not afraid to get me out of my comfort zone. Even after some very nerve wracking days and making mistakes, he was always there to reassure me that it'll all work out with time and practice. I just got my Class A license with him and couldn't be happier with the school that I chose. If you want to go to a CDL school where you can go at your own pace, be one on one with an instructor (Tom), and have a good laugh, this is the place to go. Thank you Tom for the opportunity and the knowledge that you have provided to help me in my future endeavors.

Easy 5 stars, got me my cdl in a few weeks, first time around as well! Tom is very kind, understanding and a great teacher. I would highly recommend coming to CMV Tutor, I am not the best with remembering a lot of information but the way Tom teaches you and gives you all the information it's kinda hard not to remember and keep it in your head! Tom is a fantastic instructor. Offering 1 on 1 classes you will learn faster and have a better understanding of the trucking industry. He is easy to talk to and get along with, he will be honest with you on if you are ready for the test or not before sending you out for the test. For the price of the course and the knowledge Tom provides I have no regrets choosing the CMV Tutor.
